I have been a communicant of St. George’s since 2019 and have been attending with my family since
2006. I was baptized at St. George’s along with my daughters, Ava and Helena, in 2008. Our family has
been involved with the preschool for many years – my daughters attended, and now are old enough to
help with the aftercare program and church nursery. Over the years I have been involved in many roles
and activities, from grounds clean-ups to holiday pageants, wine-and-cheese dinners to The Table family
nights and serving on the vestry.
When we moved to Memphis from North Carolina in 2002 Trish and I didn’t know this would become
our home and the place we would raise a family. But in addition to putting down roots and becoming
part of the community, we’ve also become part of the church family at St. George’s. It is an honor to
serve the church as a member of the discernment committee.
