Stewardship 2017- 2018
Come and See
Stewardship Update November 2017
Good news! We are within reach of our target of 180 pledges of time, talent and treasure for 2018. As of today, we have 155 pledges in from our parishioners totaling over $550,000 and innumerable hours of time and talent.
Just 25 pledges more will help us reach our goal of 180. We have 22 families out there that we have not yet heard from, and who pledged over $50,000 last year, and another 10 who have verbally committed to SGEC, so if you are one of those families, do take the time to grab a pledge of time, talent and treasure and get it back to us soon.
If you are new to the parish, committing some of your gifts to St. George's can deepen your faith and bring you closer to others who, like you, want to make a difference.
We will be reaching out one more time to all of you over the next several days to try to bring this campaign to a successful close.
You can find a blank pledge card here on the church website, or in the church office. Every gift is important, of any size or type. All aboard!

As our season of Stewardship comes to an end, we would like to thank everyone who has given of their time, talent and treasure to St. George's!
We have one more heartfelt message from Carl Buckalew to our congregation. It is only three minutes long and well worth your time to watch it! Click here to watch Carl's video.
Also, if you haven't had a chance to sign a pledge card, click here to see the file and you can download it to your own computer to fill out and send in!
Gaining on Our Goal!!
We are so excited that we are so close to our goal of 180 pledges for the year. Thanks to everyone that has participated so far. It is not too late for you to be included. We only need about 20 more pledges to reach our goal. Every gift is important, regardless of its size.
You can complete the online pledge form you will find here:
http://stgchurch.org/index.php/stewardship or simply reach out to Eileen Fields (
) in the church office to let her know of your intent. Thank you for being a part of St. George's.

November 13, we celebrated our Stewardship Homecoming/Ingathering by bringing forward pledges of time, talent and treasure and joining in a celebratory meal. We are well on our way to our goal of 180 gifts for the coming year. These gifts are critical to helping us meet some key program needs, including finding a replacement for Chandler Whitman, our former Curate and associate priest to Mother Dorothy.
